PEMCO LAUNCHES 737-700 CONVERSIONS

PEMCO World Air Services has launched its Passenger-to-FlexCombi and Passenger-to-Freighter conversion programmes for the Boeing Next Generation 737-700 aircraft. The programmes will be marketed as B737-700FC (FlexCombi) and B737-700F (Freighter). Bahrain-based Chisholm Enterprises is the launch customer for the PEMCO B737-700FC.

 

AIRBUS ENTERS AIRLINE INTERIORS BUSINESS

 

Airbus has launched Airbus Interiors Services (AIS). Based in Toulouse, AIS is built on the engineering know-how and experience of the former Airbus Corporate Jet Centre. AIS is part of Services by Airbus, and is now dedicated to supporting airlines with their cabin upgrade development strategies.

 

P&W LAUNCHES EngineWise

 

GE Aviation has announced the selection of its Nantgarw overhaul facility, based just north of Cardiff, Wales, as the company’s global ‘Entry into Service’ readiness programme for the GE9X engine. GE Aviation Wales was selected based on its technical expertise and its track record of continuous improvement.

 

LHT LAUNCHES AVIATAR

 

Lufthansa Technik has announced that its newly created Digital Fleet Solutions product division has launched AVIATAR, an open MRO IT platform that will support customers to manage complex fleet conditions in real time and to forecast probabilities of failure of single components.

 

N3 CELEBRATES A DECADE

 

N3 Engine Overhaul Services, the joint venture between Lufthansa Technik and Rolls-Royce located in Erfurt, celebrated its 10-year operating anniversary on 7 April.
