With more than 35 years’ experience working in the airline industry, Simon has held a variety of key management positions. Joining from Atlanta where he held the position of Director Sales Alliances and Market Development for Delta Airlines, Simon takes up his new role in London with immediate effect. He was heavily involved in the merging of the two national carriers and was appointed Director of Sales for Air France-KLM in 2007.

He has since held a number of senior management positions within Air France-KLM including Vice President Commercial in the US between 2009 and 2013 and General Manager for the Pacific between 2014 and 2017. With over 20 years’ experience in the international sales environment for Air France-KLM and its strategic partners, Simon brings a wealth of product knowledge and an extensive understanding of commercial issues.

Simon commented: “I’m delighted to be returning to the UK market as Director of Sales. Over the last few years, our Group has made significant investment in our product, fleet and route network and I am confident that these enhancements have been well received by our UK customers.

More recently, we have commenced a new strategic partnership with Virgin Atlantic, which compliments our longstanding relationship with Delta Airlines and creates exciting network opportunities and further choice for our customers. I am looking forward to working with the dynamic teams across all airlines to further strengthen our position within the UK market.”
