MRO Europe 2018

Aviation Week Network’s MRO Europe (#MROE) will be held October 16-18, 2018 at the RAI in Amsterdam. 

Focusing on the state of the commercial aviation maintenance, repair, and overhaul industry, MRO Europe will feature industry leadership, including: keynote speaker, Valter Fernandes, CEO Portugalia Airlines.  He will discuss what needs to be done by industry stakeholders to get certifications, parts, approvals and other necessary procedures in place faster to reduce response times in his presentation “Matching the Speed of Industry Evolution to the Pace of Customer Needs.” Additional presenters include Mike Fleming, Boeing and Johann Bordais, Airbus who will be joined by a representative from Embraer.  They will sit down to discuss the ”Three way Competition” and new service strategies that are changing the MRO business.  Gavin Goudie, Blue Bear Systems Research will join a panel on “Drones for Maintenance.”  Attendees will hear from easyJet in “State of the Airline”, a team presentation.

MRO Europe’s program includes drill-down discussions and case studies to give you access to critical information and intelligence. Topics include:

MRO Europe will feature devoted content on the helicopter MRO and engine market including cross-over sessions with the co-located Helitech International Expo and Conference. Move between both shows for a complete picture of this vital industry. Sessions include:

The Exhibition Hall will host nearly 400 companies displaying their products, solutions and services along with pavilions dedicated to helicopter maintenance and EASA Part 21. 

Attendees will also have the opportunity to participate in the Fokker Services Component Repair Shop Facility Tour. Participants will get to see Fokker’s state-of-the-art Level 4 capability on hydraulics, IDG overhaul, avionics, and electronics. The tour will take place on Thursday, October 18th after the MRO Europe show and advance registration is required.

MRO Europe registration hours are Tuesday, October 16, and Wednesday, October 17, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Thursday, October 18, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.  Exhibition hours are Wednesday, October 17, from 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Thursday, October 18, from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.  Entrance to the exhibition hall is free provided registration is completed on or before October 12, 2018.
