Congratulations to Airline Cargo Management

Tis’ the season to … win awards! Air Transport Publications would like to congratulate our own Alexandra Lennane, editor of Airline Cargo Management and Low Cost & Regional Airline Business.

At last night’s Seahorse Club awards, Alex won Supply Chain Journalist of the Year for the article ‘It’s all in the sourcing’, in the September 2011 issue of Airline Cargo Management (page 48), and also came runner-up in the battle for Journalist of the Year, which went to our newest recruit, Gavin van Marle!

But the accolades didn’t stop there; Will Waters won Air Cargo Journalist of the Year for the article ‘Perils in the post’ on dangerous goods, which ran in the June 2011 issue of Airline Cargo Management (page 24). Congratulations to Will and thanks to the award sponsors, the Seahorse Club, Geodis Wilson & the UK P&I Club.

Thank you for your continued hard work and here’s to a great 2012!

Airline Payments
Following the excellent reception of our launch edition, the second instalment of the Airline Payments supplement will be delivered to the readers of Low Cost & Regional Airline Business magazine with our December issue.

Payment solutions are of growing importance to airlines, but this complex and critical area of airline management receives minimal coverage in the business press. We are offering the first regular focus on payment issues for airline executives.
